Our Mission

To improve the livelihoods of Malagasy people using sustainable methods and in turn, enriching the environment and the people. The Madagascar Mobile library is an innovative traveling resource hub that visits 4 rural areas of Madagascar per month each school year. We are the first traveling mobile library program established in Madagascar, established in 2015.

Our Projects

We focus on education, re-greening, and community guidance. This holistic approach provides opportunities to improve literacy, community health, economic well-being, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental conservation. We work on projects in our mobile library that give people in isolated villages access to opportunities.

Library and Education

An innovative project that brings books, learning, and fun to rural areas in Madagascar.

Mushroom Cultivation

A project that brings mushrooms and income to rural areas in Madagascar.

Food Forest

A low-maintenance, sustainable, plant-based food production and agroforestry model helping locals.

Regreening

Seeds and trees for schools and families, development of values and skills regarding diversified cropland, aligned with skills development in agroforestry.

Mushroom Taxonomy

Mycologists will identify species and benefit from documenting and harvesting.
